Strategic Planning

Knowing your purpose for being, and aligning your efforts around a deep understanding of that purpose, is at the core of a solid strategic planning process. Our approach mostly centers around the strategic thinking that is needed before an operational plan can be developed.

Key components include:

  • External and internal stakeholder input
  • A Board retreat to begin those strategic thinking conversations
  • A Strategy Committee that takes the lead in helping form the plan (or Core Path as we call it)
  • A partner in Mosaic that will facilitate the process and create the Strategic Core Path document

Team Building

We can work with small or groups especially in the areas of culture alignment, managing change and team effectiveness. A combination of training, consulting and coaching is available.

Strategic Restructuring/Mergers

Sometimes to have your mission stay alive and effective, a new organizational structure needs to be considered. We can collaborate with you from the beginning discussion around seeking a new structure, to identifying the ideal partner and ultimately determining the best new way forward. Note: Mosaic currently is not able to provide the legal or financial due diligence needed in these types of transactions.

Board/Staff retreat facilitation

Having a neutral and experienced facilitator can really make a retreat a productive and -- yes -- fun experience.  Let us assist you from designing the flow, to creating the materials, to facilitation of processes to achieve the expected outcomes.
